Maintenance of conglomerate washbasins.

Material description – Conglomerate, also known as cast marble, is a mixture of mineral powder (polyester harts) with high quality polyesters. The surface is protected by a gelcoat layer with a minimum thickness of 0.5 mm. Washbasins are manufactured in a production process that does not have a harmful effect on people.

Products made of cast marble should be preserved as follows:

  • clean with an ordinary liquid cleaner for washing bathroom products made of dolomite or acrylic, you can use Marmite „Clean & Sine” or HG „Clean Bathroom” Attention! Abrasive cleaners are not recommended.
  • polish with a special fine-grained agent, and then wax, e.g. with a colourless agent intended for car body care. Regular care treatments ensure the aesthetic appearance of products for many years.
  • products should not be treated with acids, ammonia, sanitary cleaners or chlorine compounds.

In the event of surface scratches or if the surface becomes dull, it should be polished as per the instructions above.

Deeper scratches can be gently levelled beforehand by sanding them wet with sandpaper (approx. 1,200 grains).

In the event of a deeper scratch, it can be compensated by the means available in a specialist shop.
